1. About Go & Discover

Go & Discover helps you search for and compare travel products offered by third-party suppliers, including flights, car rental, accommodation and experiences. We also share travel stories and guides.

We provide comparison information and links to supplier websites. We do not take bookings or payments and are not the supplier of the travel products displayed.

2. Using our website

By using Go & Discover, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

You must use the website lawfully. You must not compromise its security, disrupt its operation, introduce harmful software or obtain unauthorised access to its systems. Separate terms apply when you visit a supplier’s website or make a booking.

3. Search results, filters and selected options

Our search results and filters help you compare products. Suppliers may use different descriptions, categories and definitions. A displayed result may not meet every filter or preference you selected.

Your search selections may not transfer to the supplier’s website and may need to be entered again. Product names, photographs and categories may be illustrative; for example, a car may be offered as “or similar” rather than a guaranteed make or model.

You must check the supplier’s final offer before booking, including but not limited to dates, locations, the type of car or other product, and all inclusions and exclusions. Do not rely on a search result or selected filter as confirmation that a product meets your requirements.

4. Your responsibility before booking

Before booking or paying, it is your responsibility to confirm directly with the supplier that the product meets your needs. Check dates, times, pickup or meeting locations, passenger and driver details, specifications, accessibility, availability, and all inclusions and exclusions.

Check the final total price, taxes and compulsory charges, deposits, insurance cover and excess, baggage allowances, fuel policies, mileage limits, eligibility requirements, payment conditions, and cancellation, amendment, refund and no-show terms.

For flights, check departure and arrival airports, dates and local times, connections and self-transfers, operating airlines, baggage allowances, fare class, seat selection and change conditions. Confirm whether separate tickets require you to collect baggage and check in again.

For car rental, check pickup and return locations and times, vehicle category and any “or similar” wording, transmission, fuel policy, mileage limits, driver age and licence requirements, payment card requirements, deposits, insurance and excess.

For experiences, check the exact activity or admission option, date and start time, meeting point, duration, language, age and fitness restrictions, accessibility, transport, equipment and other inclusions or exclusions. Check weather-related conditions and cancellation arrangements.

Check passport, visa, entry, driving licence and other travel requirements with the relevant official authorities or supplier. If any information differs or is unclear, obtain confirmation from the supplier before booking or paying.

By using Go & Discover, you acknowledge your responsibility to verify the supplier’s final offer. This does not remove our own legal responsibilities or affect your statutory rights.

5. Prices, availability and accuracy

Prices, availability and product details can change at any time. A displayed price is not a guaranteed offer or a reservation. Information may be delayed, incomplete or contain errors.

Currency conversions, where provided, are estimates. The supplier’s payment currency and applicable exchange rate may differ. We take reasonable care in presenting information, but cannot promise that third-party information will always be accurate, complete or current.

6. Bookings and supplier services

Your booking contract is with the supplier or booking provider identified during booking, not with Go & Discover. The supplier’s terms govern payment, travel arrangements, amendments, cancellations and refunds.

Direct booking questions and complaints to the relevant supplier. Go & Discover cannot amend or cancel bookings, issue refunds or make commitments on a supplier’s behalf. We do not guarantee a supplier’s performance or the quality, suitability or safety of its products.

7. Results and commercial relationships

Go & Discover does not necessarily include every supplier or product in the market. Results depend on the information available to us and the scope of our search services.

We may receive a commission when you follow certain links or make a qualifying booking. A listing or link is not a guarantee or endorsement. Unless expressly stated, a comparison is not a comprehensive search of the entire market or a guarantee of the lowest price. See our affiliate disclosure for more information.

8. Travel stories and guides

Stories, photographs and guides provide general information and inspiration. Some reflect personal experiences at the time of travel. Opening hours, prices, transport services, entry requirements and local conditions may have changed.

Check current information with the relevant official authority or service provider before travelling. Articles linked to The World As We Found It or other external websites are subject to those websites’ terms.

9. External websites

We do not control external websites’ content, security, privacy practices or availability. Before providing personal information or paying, check that you are on the intended website and read its terms and privacy notice.

10. Our responsibility and liability

We are responsible for losses you suffer where they are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. A loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was reasonably contemplated by you and us.

We are not responsible for a supplier’s failure to provide its services or honour its booking contract. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by a supplier’s actions, or by your failure to check booking details, where those losses are not attributable to a breach or fault on our part.

Go & Discover is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of business profits, revenue or business opportunities.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.

11. Website availability

Access may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Search services, suppliers, features and content may change. Website changes do not change a booking contract you have already made with a supplier.

12. Photographs and other content

Photographs, text, logos, designs and other material belong to us or their respective owners and are protected by intellectual property rights. You may view the website and share links for personal use.

Unless permitted by law or an applicable licence, obtain permission before reproducing, republishing, selling or commercially using content. Supplier names and trademarks remain their owners’ property.

13. Privacy and cookies

Our privacy information explains how we collect and use personal information and use cookies and similar technologies. Suppliers and external websites have their own policies, which you should read when using their services.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our services or legal requirements change. The latest version is published here with its updated date. Updated terms apply to future website use and do not retrospectively change existing rights or supplier contracts.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence. You may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
